The abstracts are devoted to understanding the instruments of financing for a circular economy and aim to promote
awareness of the key role that finance can play in the transition to a circular economy. We can refer to the financial
instruments for the development of the circular economy: debt financing; loan private capital and capital from official sources;
mezzanine financing as a hybrid of debt and equity financing; warranty; reimbursed grants/grants for conditional recovery.
We have identified the financial mechanism of the circular economy through the prism of the concept of sustainability, where
the financial system acts as an environment for the accumulation of resources for the transformation of economic systems.
We also identified the financial mechanism of the circular economy through the prism of the concept of cyclical economic
development. It is based on a new framework of regulatory rules and requirements, in which the idea of permanence and
circularity determines the movement of international capital flows. This allows us to make an assumption that the financial
system is able to act as a determinant of preventing systemic environmental crises. At the same time, the financial system
can become a trigger for structural and financial crises if capital flows form financial bubbles through investment hype. |
